Among the BN Legislative members, Najib has the upper hands compared to Muhyiddin. Muhyiddin's effort to oust Najib may only be good when comes the UMNO election as Muhyiddin has the upper hands within UMNO. For Muhyiddin to come forward immediately to oust Najib in near foreseable future is not possible as he has not enough numbers in the Legislative body, Parliament.
Muhyiddin can only see the prospect to oust Najib only after the next General Election, and it will only if he can contain the support from members and divisional leaders by the time the party election comes by in 2018. More often than not a leader without the government positions will see his support evaporates to the thin air in no time.
It is going to be stiff effort to get Najib stuck to his misdeeds through legal and investigations as the members of the investigation team are either sacked or be bought over by Najib. Nur Jazlan was critical on Najib and 1MDB, but he now works with Najib and pledge to give full and undivided support for Najib to return the favor that Najib gives him to be a Deputy Minister in one of the controversial and debatable Ministries in the government. He resigns from the PAC chairmanship gladly and instantaneously.
Anyone who aspires to take on Najib as the Prime Minister has to have the support of the opposition front. This is where Muhyiddin's weakness is. Muhyiddin is not magnanimous enough to lead a nation that is populated by diversity of races and cultures. He is only an adaptable leader within UMNO and he has only Malay that he is familiar to work with.
Muhyiddin can only become a Prime Minister with two conditions. The first condition is that UMNO and BN can still hold on to power after the next General Election and secondly if he can oust Najib as the President of the UMNO in the coming party election that will only be held after the next General Election. The question now is whether Muhyiddin will be listed as BN candidate by Najib in the forth coming GE.
If Muhyiddin has the intention to get the opposition to rally behind him to topple Najip through the Legislative Parliament is a day dream for him. Muhyiddin does not have the numbers to oust Najib through Parliament and if attempts to go through it now he is going to crash before even taking off.
While he (Muhyiddin) is busy in search of mode and manner of ousting Najib, the desperate Prime Minister may be able to find a logical and legal manner of circumventing Muhyiddin's move. We must remember a desperate democrat can turn to dictatorship if his popularity is doomed like we obviously witness now. He may even manage to find good reasons to put Muhyiddin out of UMNO within days.
The only face-saving device that is available for Muhyiddin to upkeep his pride of his political dignity is to assist and back someone or anyone who has the numbers to get Najib moved out as early. Of course Muhyiddin has to own up the fact that in the process of saving this beautiful but badly managed nation there must be an element of personal sacrifice for the time being.
Muhyiddin must remember that there is a Malay adage, 'berundur setapak untuk melonjak tiga atau empat tapak kehadapan'. Muhyiddin should know this. He is no novice in politics.
Muhyiddin just need to find another 20 Ms and out from BN. Then we have a new government provided PAS does not playing evil...
ReplyDeletethen i guess he suppose to back ku li ?
ReplyDeleteNajib memang tak ada maruah kalau monyet bolih bercakap tentu dia akan sumpahkan anak bugis yang tak ada hati perut pecat mantan TPM tanpa alasan sedangkan dia ada pengikut dan apa salahnya bandingkan rm2.2 billion disonglap duit rakyat...Memang UMNO dayus doing nothing..
ReplyDeleteKuasa rakyat dibumi ini bukan dipilihan raya sahaja tetapi singkirkan pemimpin yang tak bermaruah ialah melalui kuasa rakyat bersatu melalui tunjuk perasaan dijalanan suruh dia letak jawatan seperti berlaku diThailand Filipina Mesir Libya dll .Tuan Aspan ooi kau ingat orang UMNO berani seperti menteri dan ketua bahagian berani kehadapan ke , jangat harap kerana mereka pengecut macam orang putih rakyat David Cameron diMalaysia dulu bila perang barisan hadapan ialah gurkha ,benggali dan melayu ..bila menang dialah yang ishtiharkan menang ...Kalau polis gentlemen berilah permit untuk rakyat berarak yang saya yakin bukan semua rakyat berarak tetapi kerbau dan lembu kambing ular harimau juga akan berarak kerana bukan rezki manusia sahaja hilang tetapi hutan dan air dan tanah habis disonglap olih lanun2 UMNO yang diketuai olih bugis ....
Hatinya sehitam semut hitam diatas baru hitam di malam yg gelita
ReplyDeleteAs you rightly said, support however strong for a leader outside the government, evaporated quickly. It is more true within umno. When Anwar was unceremoniously expelled, all his deciples like Rahim TambyChik, Zahid, Nazri and a dozen others including Najib and Mahyuddin, distanced themselves and some even condemned their Mentor. The same may befall Mahyuddin if he is not careful. Najib holds all the carrots that he can hang to entice umno MPs and Central Commitee members. It will not be a suprise if Mahyuddin is expelled from umno on flimsy reasons such as going against the party. The only option open for him is to keep quite or join forces with Mahathir to expose Najib's wrongdoings to draw the attention of the umno grassroot and challange Najib during the Umno Annual Meeting.
ReplyDeleteDont forget the Raden of Bagan Datuk. If Najib think he is secure. It is a mistake. He would be if the Cousin ia appointed DPM. The Raden, has more grass root support than the Bugis Warrior. He has six boxes of incriminating documents on the Bugis, Mahyuddin and everyone else in the Bugis Cabinet. Dus langkah kedepan, the Bugis and Mahyuddin will be history. The throne will belong to the Raden, cucu Taming Sari.
ReplyDeleteMahathir benafas lega apabila Najib masuk perangkapnya melantik Zahid sebagai DPM bukan Hishamuddin. Sekarang Mahathir telah tewas Najib dengan dua langkah.Langkah pertama Najib buang Mahyuddin. Langkah keduan Zahid buang Najib.

ReplyDeletePeople say Mahathir is bad and authoritarian , but don't simply drop his deputy wit no valid reason and means ,to hold on the power .
Pray tell me what reasons did he give when he severed ties with Tun Musa and Tun Ghafar? And the valid reasons for dropping DSAI other than the so called moral reasons? Tun M is an authoritarian through and through.
DeleteThe incumbent always have the upper hand. That is the reason it is not so easy to dislodge Najib.Muhyiddin's support in Umno will evaporate slowly but surely.A man of his status should not join the opposition or Mahathir to go against Najib or Umno.If he do his status will drop to zero overnight and forever be shunned by Umno.It is better he resign from the deputy president's post and retire with dignity.
ReplyDeleteAll this months the opposition should have taken the opportunity to consolidate and get their house in order. They should have left the fight to Mahathir and his gang. But they just couldn't resist the temptation of having a hand to topple the PM.So they had to get involved in other couple's marital problems. We have the opposition conspiring with the SR's Clare Rewcastle. We have a media tycoon,an Anwar crony dealing with crooks buying stolen documents to badmouth the PM.Now that they are caught playing dirty, they are quivering and hiding in dark corners, shitting through their pants, hoping and praying that the gorillas will not come a calling. These people started on the right course,on the way lost their sense of direction and got lost.In other words, they started from somewhere and ended in nowhere. To summarized it,they f*cking screwed up.
Najib dipenjara...muhyudin naek jadi presiden UM NO n jadi pengerusi BN and jadi PM Malaysia...tui
