Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, the new Home
Minister yesterday issued a depraved statement by asking Malaysians who do not
believe in the system of democracy practiced here to migrate. He was referring
to the claim by certain quarters that BN have morally lost the mandate of the
rakyat since the coalition only managed to secure 47% popular votes in
the last GE. Unambiguously Zahid took the claim incorrectly as if Pakatan
Rakyat is putting up a claim to govern the country just by the popular votes
secured by them in the just concluded GE.
PR was just referring to the
crude fact that BN have lost moral legitimacy as a truly mandated government by
the rakyat as it secured less than the percentage earned by Pakatan Rakyat. By
the number of seats, no one in the correct state of mind would deny the fact
that BN have earned marginally supplementary seats of 133 altogether. To Zahid,
let’s be a bit more grown-up and the emotional reaction should not have come
from a senior member of the Cabinet.
Hundreds of thousand rakyat
nightly assembled in various locations nation wide lately were against the
election results which Pakatan Rakyat alleged were marred by massive fraud and rigging of
the votes by UMNO and BN country wide during the GE.
Ahmad Zahid called upon those who
believe in the single transferable vote systems which is normally practiced in
the Republican countries should leave for those countries and suit themselves
with their system. Ahmad Zahid said that we don’t practice that system here.
I am not incompatible with Zahid
over the issue of differences of system adopted between those in republican
countries and our country here, but to the astonishment of many, Zahid issued a
statement which palpably reflects his arrogance and conceit. “His statement
suits and tallies with attribute of illegitimate leaders who hang on to power
derived form illegitimate prop up,” said a friend who lives within my neighborhood.
Zahid's statement yesterday is the worst ever after the GE and this statement is more or less of the same quality with statements issued by Zulkifli Noordin and Ibrahim Ali from Perkasa. I reckon Zahid should join Perkasa and he can be rest assured to be the one who will succeed Ibrahim Ali who is now having some thoughts of retiring from the right wing Malay political NGO.

A weak and feeble leader will
cover their undernourished leadership reliability with offensive and abusive
dispositions and that is natural feature in UMNO. As one of the PR leaders
rightly said, the kick-start for the termination of UMNO as ruling party has
started.
In actuality it’s not just Zahid
who is suffering from this ‘terminal’ disease. There are many more...
Zahid should have said such statement before GE 13 not after. This showed how coward Zahid is .We hope the opposition will take up the issue in parliament for Zahid to defend himself.I would like to wait for his reply. What a childish statement from a experienced minister. So now you know the quality of umno minister.
ReplyDeleteThere are more important subjects relating to RAKYAT advantage need to be addressed in Parliment instead of trying to mellow Zahid childish act. We should not at all follow BN atrocious manner if we were to transform & uplift RAKYAT intergrity. By now we should already aware of BN corrupted & wicked mindset who is no longer qualify to run Msia. BN presence in Msia is not more legitimate & unlawfully invited in Parliment

Very well expressed Aspan. Without using any diplomatic language you have clearly called a spade a spade.
ReplyDeleteYes, Zahid is qualified to be Perkasa President. But then sir, it is people like this who will votes for UMNO top posts.
Dah mula dah perang mulut ! Akhir nya siapa yg rugi ? RAKYAT RAKYAT RAKYAT. Skrg PR kena cerdik mainan BN ni. Mereka BN dah selesa d beri mandat 5 lagi. Mereka x rugi lagi dgn cakap2 yg x lambang kan pemimpin yg sebenar

ReplyDelete(Maaf kalau terpost kali kedua, tak pasti)
Zahid Hamidi will sink lower and lower in the degeneration of the illegimate govt propped up by fraud and deception.
No umrah or tilawah will save his rotting reputation. He rightly belongs with Najib.
Politik zahid kelas keempat langsung tak berguna punya kenyataan. sial punya zahid.
ReplyDeleteThe only place fit for a person like Zahid's moronic stature is the cowpen. And that is already an over statement.
ReplyDeleteThis is the mind of a fellow who knows that he has no moral authority to be where he is.
ReplyDeleteSo, like all similarly disposed, the base takes over to cover the inadequacy, never mind how preposterous and puerile the threat and senseless and hollow the declamation.
He is also telling the 3.6 million Malays who had voted for the opposition to leave too! - as if the country belongs to Umno and BN!
And voting against Umno and BN is voting against the country.
What arrogant, misplaced sense of entitlement.
Umno knows that it has lost the moral legitimacy to rule and what better way than to attempt to exert its shallow authority by painting others as less than patriotic and, therefore, less legitimate than they.
Trust me, Umno will become more and more strident and more and more imbecilic in their pronouncements to cover the gaping hole in their moral armour - if there ever was one, i.e.
But you can fool the people only so much and so far, before you get egg in the face.

ReplyDeleteZahid telah memberikan gambaran Bagaimana KDN Akan diuruskan dgn sikap & perckpan Beliau yg menunjukkan cara samseng. Klu Beliau membaca posting ini harap dia sedar yg dia dipilih rakyat Dan dia Akan sentiasa diperhatikan sepjg masa samada kenyataan mahupun perjalanan KDN kelak.

ReplyDeleteIf our nation has leaders like Zahid, we are certainly not far from the fate of another country named Zimbabwe. Zahid is certainly a disciple of Robert Mugabe.

If you dont like whats happening in our country... you should leave since you have already filled your pockets with the rakyats money... Shame on you...
ReplyDeletePse lah stop all these accusations.Be gentlemen and accept defeat graciously. He is the new KDN Minister and personnaly it is his right to express his comments, same as we here.Do not be double standard. When the Menteri Amaran was the boss,we,the same people bombarded him like he was the most tikus on earth. What we should do now do some appreciations and comes up with good assessments and forward to the Parties bosses to which we are inclined to on the strength and weaknesess during last GE,and formulate good and sound plan to face the next election may it PRK or PRU 14.I have no doubt that with the new Minister at KDN and new IGP,there will be surprises and people like Tian Chua,Sivarasa or even DSAI to be little bit careful with their statements.I feel something fishy is happening now with mostly young Chinese DAP supporters presence at 505 demons, where are the normally hard core PAS members and even PKR supporters esp the Malays were shunning away.5 years is quite a long time and the scenerio lately not in favour of PR.pse enlighten me on this issue.
