Be serious, we need a technocrat, magnanimous leader and a planner to lead

As I have said time and again Najib has lost everything. He has lost the cardinal requisites of a national leader and as the Prime Minister of a democratic nation. His credibility is quizzed by international community and that automatically make him as a botched leader. His personal credibility and the believability is now zero and he has no reason what so ever to continue on leading the nation.

Okay, what will be our next hurdle? It’s the substitute to Najib. As this blog has been saying unfailingly the culture and the traditional mode of replacing the failed outgoing leader is the real problem to the country. We have now undependable leaders in UMNO supreme council and the leadership vacuum just cannot make anyone of them fit to fill in the position as the Prime Minister.

Let’s say things bluntly. Muhyiddin is unfit to take over Najib who is going to leave Putrajaya. Taking in Muhyiddin is no change and to some political analysts are in opinion that the problems are going to recur maybe in different form. Their culture is the same and their way of thinking and perception of things do not have dissimilarities. They are hoards of hollow, weak and oblivious of proper leadership. The people have suffered enough under the current PM. There is nothing for one to believe in him any longer.

The situation that the country is facing is too severe that the Najib’s replacement is a paramount issue. If the same mistake of replacing the outgoing leader with another leader who is going to extend another lease of problems and hiccups to the country, than we are going to be in perpetual disorder and that will bring down the nation to irrecoverable devastation.

Muhyiddin is not free from issues if there is little efforts to uncover what he did last summer. There are debatable issues against him and if he is given the responsibility to fix up the huge and massive problems we are facing now we are going to be in total disappointments. More over Muhyiddin is not able to garner even fifty percent of the UMNO members and warlords to stand by him.

His effort to pack with the opposition to oust Najib was believed to be futile. No one should blame the opposition to reject Muhyiddin's proposal. Even though the oppositions believe in working with UMNO after Najib's departure, they distrust Muhyiddin to take the mantle.

Muhyiddin may have some familiarity with UMNO but he does not have the cut for a leader for all Malaysian. His 'Malay first and Malaysian second' stigma in him just make him an automatic disqualifier for the position of a Prime Minister for this almost fractured nation. As this blog have been routinely emphasizing we need a magnanimous Malay leader for all Malaysians. We need a leader who is hands-on on financial issues and a technocrat in attribute as well as a planner to lead.

With the current economic and financial disorder we need someone who has the sterling record both national and international contributions in the finance to bring a new political ambience that we are in dire need.

More importantly we are in need of a leader who can glue the interracial and inter-regional breakages within the country to keep going in achieving our ultimate that is the true national unity. Until the true national unity is achieved we are not yet a successful sovereign nation.

Ambiga's call for the opposition to band with Muhyiddn to oust Najib is a call of a political novice and we should ignore the call. There will be continuous political disorder if we answer her call.

I am sure Tengku Razaleigh is the man. My experienced working under this leader is unforgetable. A very kind at heart and straight in his thinking and of course he worked hard for the policy being implemented truthfully.

He always gave us the spirit of working hard and deligently and he no hanky pancky happened. I retire just weeks before he fought Dr Mahair in 1987. I miss him as no other leader has the fineess he has. A perfect gentleman he is can save the country if he leads. I pray and paray that he will be the ultimate savior for Malaysia...God willing

Ku Li was literally tyhe defacto PM under Razak and Hussein. He managed the natipon's economy and built up the economic structure of the country.

He was given the big responsibility to realise the setting up of Petronas and he did itu splendidly well. He was recognised by the world as financial czar as consequently he was elected to be the elected chairman of the world bank. No other figure has this kind of restimonial in this country.

But as Mr Aspan write upteen of times, his astounding record made him killed and sidelined by the Umno warlords due to jealousies. That was how he was side lined for 3 decades.

I believe he's the only figure that fits in the job to restore the nations politics and economic peroblems. I bet I am right.

If Ku Li is appointed to lead the nation with the support of the pirates still retained, I can't imagine how he will be able to perform.

Ku Li as PM

Adenan Satem as DPM

Nazir Razak as special advisor to Finance Ministry (future PM perhaps)

Nur Jazlan in Cabinet

Mixture of PAS progressives, PKR and DAP as informal partners - must participate in overhaul of all systems

UMNO deadwood and crooks terus pencen...that will be most of the current Cabinet!

Yes indeed.

What we need is someone Intellectual & Decisive like this...

Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis & Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras...

"...Yanis Varoufakis was seen enjoying a pint today just hours after quitting as Greek finance minister while Eurozone leaders prepare to meet to discuss sending humanitarian aid to the stricken country.

He supped on a beer, checked his phone and laughed and joked with friends and wife Danae Stratou at a bar in Athens after announcing his shock resignation following a resounding 'no' vote on an international bailout package that plunged Greece's future in the eurozone into further jeopardy.

Earlier he had whisked her away on a motorbike before a scrum of reporters in the capital having announced his immediate resignation in a blog post that ended with Varoufakis claiming he will 'wear the creditors' loathing with pride'.

He also revealed that Greece's Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had judged that his leaving the job 'might help achieve a deal'.

Varoufakis was later seen handing over the mantle to Greece's new finance minister Euclid Tsakalotos, who said he had 'stage fright' as he took on the role which will see him face the unenviable task of negotiating Greece's future with European creditors.

Moments later, the European Central Bank (ECB) - whose funding Greece rely on - said it would not be providing more emergency credit to Greek banks - leaving them under increasing pressure as they struggle to cope with panicked citizens trying to withdraw savings..."

"‘I shall wear the creditors’ loathing with pride’

Greece’s finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has resigned from his post to help smooth his country’s negotiations with creditors on a new debt restructuring deal.

In typically flamboyant fashion, the motorbike-riding economist left some parting words to his Eurogroup peers — the ones he has battled with over the last few months. “I shall wear the creditors’ loathing with pride,” he boasted in a blog post announcing his departure Monday.

We’ll certainly miss one of the Europe’s most colorful figures. Here are seven quotes that show, when it comes to one-liners, there may be no man in global finance better than the former economics professor:.."

None of the UMNO Leaders today has got such "Gumption" befitting the criteria to stop the rot in Bolehland...

You be the judge.
