Some choose the party, many more choose the candidate.

Dr Mahathir, Najib, Muhyiddin and many other big guns are in Hulu Selangor campaigning for BN.

Dr Mahathir is supporting the party not the candidate this time around and let him alone knows why he changes goal post too often.

Listening to his advice can be deceiving as I am one of those who took his advice to support the candidate not the party.

His argument then was that if we choose the party, the candidate chosen by the party may be the wrong one.

So he advised us strongly that we should choose the candidate not the party.

Now he is supporting the party which has obviously chosen a wrong candidate to the mind and opinion of many voters in Hulu Selangor.

But there are still many who still take his previous advice that is to choose the candidate not the party and that explains why BN is shivering cold in Hulu Selangor.

There is no point taking his current advice because when time changes he may be back to advise us to choose the candidate, not the party.

Now he is in Hulu Selangor because the feeling on the ground is that both party and the candidate are rejected by the people in the constituency.

Zaid has taken over the attention of the voters of Hulu Selangor at this current moment.

To Datuk Zaid, I wish him luck and all the best. You are indeed the better candidate.

Thanks……………………………………………Aspan Alias

If choosing the candidate is the criteria, Zaid will also go down. Silap silap ramai yg boikot dan tak undi mana-mana. Harapkan orang yg pilih parti ajelah. Wala' kononnya :-)

Salam Bro, Agree but I think Zaid is a better candidate had he been chosen for an urban constituency like say Batu (if Tian Chua has to vacate if he losses his appeal against his conviction).

Here in HS, Zaid looks out of place, no doubt living lavishly among the liberals and so called rich malay elites for many years has changed him. He even has to write a book to remind him that "Saya pun Melayu" you know.

So there, I think Dr Mahathir is just being an astute politician who changes his stand a bit when it is necessary to do so...that is real politik, no? That is of course not the same as Zaid's proposer, Anwar the chameleon who changes his political principles as and when it suits him in his maddening obsession to become Malaysia's PM.
