Ringgit at the lowest, can we hear some sensible statements from the government and leaders?

When New York money market closes for the day hours ago, ringgit was traded at 3.88 to a USD. This is the worst ringgit performance in spot-market in more than two decades ago. We do not know what comes next and this is a real worrying situation that our country is now going through.

We are eagerly waiting for the ringgit performance in our local market today and can't bear waiting for the closing time later in the evening. There are strong indications that the ringgit movements is having parallel with the movement of the equity market daily.  There is a clear observation that the international investors are leaving in huge sum and the figure is somewhere around slightly more than US 200 million daily for the past few weeks. Surely this is another worrying situation that needs the government to address this economic hiccups seriously and instantaneously.

The exit of the foreign funds certainly results in negative consequences to the ringgit as it will subsequently results in heavy selling of the ringgit in exchange of the USD in particular. They are moving their funds to more stable neighbouring bourses in Thailand and Jakarta as well as Singapore. With the unhealthy state of political ambience here the funds are drifting in huge sum to the earlier mentioned bourses and if this state of affair continues the ringgit is quite certain to break the psychological barrier level of 3.90 in short due. It can happen today or it may happen tomorrow or day after.

Now, how is our government and leaders reacting to this seriously negative economic situation? Can anybody in power say something about this?  Can the whole hordes of leaders take leave from telling lies and issuing ungainly  political statements and focus on this urgent matters for the time being?

Can we hear something sensible reactions from leaders with authority about this urgently as this situation cannot be continuously ignored. Just stop doing cover-ups on all your wrong doings for a while and pay attention to the sliding economic goings on of the country seriously.

We want to hear some worthwhile and quantifiable statements from Mr Prime Minister especially as he is also in charged of finance and economy. Can Najib enlighten us a little within these few days?  Don't give the world economic problems as the reason for the fall of our currency. Giving the same reasons may be perceived as just giving excuses.

Let's continue watching the pranks and shenanigans of our deceitful leaders

The USD 700 million that was deposited in Najib's personal account is not an issue any longer. Whatever written and published by the WSJ has been admitted to be true and there is no reason for a right thinking person to doubt the truth of what WSJ wrote.  Now Najib and his sychophants are trying to divert the issue by telling everyone that it was all donations for the party before the last General Elections. Najib wants us to believe him as he thinks that we Malaysian are his small cousin brothers and sisters.

Najib thinks that we Malaysians have nothing in our heads, but only sand or cow dungs. His supporters are singing the same melody telling everyone that there is nothing wrong for Najib to take in donations. Khairy Jamaluddin says that the donations can be deposited either in the party's account or the personal account of the Prime Minister as there is no law prohibiting the money to be transferred in the personal account of the Prime minister. Hence the claim by Sarawak Report and WSJ that USD 700 million flowed into Najib's personal account are all true as admitted by Khairy and the rest of the sycophantic Cabinet is no more undebatable.

Can we believe that Sarawak report and WSJ are untruthful about this issue? Can we reject totally the notion that the money originates from 1MDB through companies that are associated with 1MDB? If at all that the Sarawak Report and WSJ's claims are false what is the real and actual truth? This has not been answered by Najib and the Cabinet. Najib should rightfully be telling everyone the name and the status of the person or the company that deposited the money to 1MDB, but he instead focuses on issue whether the money should be in the personal account of the PM or the party's account.

Now tell us how is Najib and the Cabinet going to deny the ugly perception by the local and international community that our leaders are thieving huge sum of Malaysian's public funds? Najib must come with satisfying answer to this and this comes not only from the Malaysians but also from the visiting British Prime Minister a week ago. Now what does Khairy has to say about this issue? Khairy must prove that the education and qualifications he obtained from the world top-notch university can show some  differences from the rest of "sekolah atap" leaders.

Khairy must prove to the public that the disease UMNO is suffering is not contagious that can turn 'smart' persons into stupid and lame-duck leaders. Many feel sorry for Khairy who spoils his own dignity by supporting the moves of the Cabinet to arrest everyone that were empowered to investigate the issue to the core. It's apparent that Khairy is choosing to compromise his dignity and self respect in his social climbing efforts by issuing laughable statements in defence the undignified and deceitful Prime Minister.

Khairy and the rest of the Cabinet are not different with each other. They are now purely focusing on defending the misdeeds of the untruthful government that Najib leads. That's why we now see and hear some investigation officers on 1MDB got arrested at mid-night when they were to get near to the truth to the plundering acts of the leaders of today.

Certainly we Malaysians are in deep shit. I don't hear any leader getting worried with the sliding of Malaysian Ringgit to major currencies of the world. No one is taking notice to the flow of investors from our stock market to the tune of nothing less than RM200 million a day. Investors are running away in big way that results in massive selling of the ringgit almost daily. Now our ringgit stands at 3.85 to a US dollar, the worst performing currency in the region's history.

Let's stop here and continue on witnessing all the pranks and shenanigans committed by our hopeless and unshameful leaders that Najib leads.

Dictatorship is setting in, can we co-exist with it?

Najib is firm with his decision not to quit despite of strong pressure to resign for the past weeks and months.  In his defence Najib is acting just like a dictator in the making.  In actual fact he is already a full blown dictator. That was why this blog has been reminding everybody especially in UMNO for the past years that a weak leadership that wants to continue ruling us will only have one choice, i.e. be a dictator.

When he sacked Muhyiddin as a Deputy Prime Minister, he didn’t realize that Muhyiddin was still the Deputy President of the party. He may have good reasons to sack Muhyiddin from his position in the party but Najib is known for doing things without enough thinking. As I have mentioned few days back, sacking Muhyiddin from the government without sacking him from the party position, Najib is inflicting his own troubles. Najib is now facing heavier burden to face the consequences of his sacking of the AG as well as the arrest on many officers from MACC who were doing investigations on 1MDB.

His acts to stall the investigations on the 1MDB have been perceived by the public as the acts to conceal the actual corrupt practices in 1MDB. Surely Najib won’t be stalling the efforts to investigate the alleged corrupt goings on in 1MDB if he has nothing to hide in the issue. He has more reasons to allow the investigations to proceed unhindered for him to come out clean from the injurious issue. Hence it was conclusive that the allegations of corrupt and plundering in 1MDB were real and Najib is trying hard to frustrate the investigations to keep the public uninformed about the dubious acts of the debatable 1MDB.

Now Najib is declaring in the open that he is not resigning as he feels that he is strongly insulated by the muscles he has as the Prime Minister.  From now on Najib is going to be a full fledge dictator and anybody can be arrested anytime and anywhere. We are in a situation which is we have not experience before and if no one is prepared to exercise a national corrections we should now start to adjust our way of life from a reasonably democratic environment to a government that is led by a dictator.  Right now Najib has a Deputy who is known for his inability to think well and always act without decorum. With Zahid by his side, dictatorship will come by expeditiously.

Najib claims that he has three million UMNO members behind him who want him to continue ruling the country.  He forgets that we need a Prime Minister of all Malaysians not just for UMNO members.  He must realize that there are huge numbers of Malays outside UMNO who want to have their say in electing a Prime Minister. There are millions of non- Malays who were not given the say to elect a Prime Minister. The Sabahans and the Sarawakian have not been having the opportunity to be hand-in-glove with the small number of Malays in electing the Federation’s Prime Minister.

Najib should stop loitering around in Putrajaya as resting his laurels on UMNO Malays to stay put as Prime Minister is indigestible.

However he doesn’t need big support as he has chosen to be a dictator to survive. To Najib democracy is uncompanionable to him. A dictator doesn’t need massive support. What he needs are just few merciless assistants to dictate everything and everybody in the country. Zahid Hamidi fits the job.

Mahathir dulu pun begitu.
