Muhyiddin, there is an adage, 'undur setapak untuk melonjak tiga tapak kehadapan'

Among the BN Legislative members, Najib has the upper hands compared to Muhyiddin. Muhyiddin's effort to oust Najib may only be good when comes the UMNO election as Muhyiddin has the upper hands within UMNO. For Muhyiddin to come forward immediately to oust Najib in near foreseable future is not possible as he has not enough numbers in the Legislative body, Parliament.

Muhyiddin can only see the prospect to oust Najib only after the next General Election, and it will only if he can contain the support from members and divisional leaders by the time the party election comes by in 2018. More often than not a leader without the government positions will see his support evaporates to the thin air in no time.

It is going to be stiff effort to get Najib stuck to his misdeeds through legal and investigations as the members of the investigation team are either sacked or be bought over by Najib. Nur Jazlan was critical on Najib and 1MDB, but he now works with Najib and pledge to give full and undivided support for Najib to return the favor that Najib gives him to be a Deputy Minister in one of the controversial and debatable Ministries in the government. He resigns from the PAC chairmanship gladly and instantaneously.

Anyone who aspires to take on Najib as the Prime Minister has to have the support of the opposition front. This is where Muhyiddin's weakness is. Muhyiddin is not magnanimous enough to lead a nation that is populated by diversity of races and cultures. He is only an adaptable leader within UMNO and he has only Malay that he is familiar to work with.

Muhyiddin can only become a Prime Minister with two conditions. The first condition is that UMNO and BN can still hold on to power after the next General Election and secondly if he can oust Najib as the President of the UMNO in the coming party election that will only be held after the next General Election. The question now is whether Muhyiddin will be listed as BN candidate by Najib in the forth coming GE.

If Muhyiddin has the intention to get the opposition to rally behind him to topple Najip through the Legislative Parliament is a day dream for him. Muhyiddin does not have the numbers to oust Najib through Parliament and if attempts to go through it now he is going to crash before even taking off.

While he (Muhyiddin) is busy in search of mode and manner of ousting Najib, the desperate Prime Minister may be able to find a logical and legal manner of circumventing Muhyiddin's move. We must remember a desperate democrat can turn to dictatorship if his popularity is doomed like we obviously witness now. He may even manage to find good reasons to put Muhyiddin out of UMNO within days.

The only face-saving device that is available for Muhyiddin to upkeep his pride of his political dignity is to assist and back someone or anyone who has the numbers to get Najib moved out as early. Of course Muhyiddin has to own up the fact that in the process of saving this beautiful but badly managed nation there must be an element of personal sacrifice for the time being.

Muhyiddin must remember that there is a Malay adage, 'berundur setapak untuk melonjak tiga atau empat tapak kehadapan'. Muhyiddin should know this. He is no novice in politics.

Stay united, please save our country

The Cabinet reshuffle yesterday was a reshuffle to ensure all the misdeeds of the government are concealed from the knowledge of the people. The reshuffle affirms the allegations that the 1MDB issue and all the allegations on Najib’s role in it are all true and real. The Attorney General was terminated just two months before he was due for retirement and the AG was taken aback by his sacking without notice.

They were wild rumors that the AG was prepared to charge Najib over the 1MDB issue and by his sacking just few weeks before he was due for retirement adds a firm believes that Najib was very terrified to face the reality of the 1MDB’s case. However the prerogative of the PM to appoint anyone for any position in the Cabinet has got to be recognized and accepted by all. The alleged dubious role by the PM in 1MDB issue now is very predictable and his action to cover up all the misdeeds by appointing fresh leadership under him is too telling that he is involved directly in the 1MDB fiasco.

As ordinary people understand what the goings on in 1MDB, the effort to put off Najib from power is mandatory and it must be done through the various political and democratic institutions available has to be applied immediately. There must be a consolidated and united effort to save this country from the plunders of irresponsible and deluded minded Cabinet lineup. The nation is in serious danger as the current new line up is giving blind loyalty to the disputed PM and it is going to have serious repercussions to the sovereignty of this beautiful nation that we have.

On the opposition side there must be a united stand and the opposition has to bury all differences within intra and interparty disorder for the sake of saving the country from further falloff and destructions. The rakyat has to repossess the power now in the hands of the irresponsible and undependable leaders. The building of the nation didn’t come easy, hence any group that works to destroy it has got to be circumvented and displaced.

All the eighty odds opposition leaders in Parliament have got to stay united and put up strong stand to work on the disposing the illegitimate leaders that control us currently. Warring Hadi and LGE as well as Kit Siang has got to be submerged deeply and leaders from PKR have got to put up ‘save Malaysia’ as their main agenda. If this effort succeeds the following and subsequent moves will come in much easier to arrive at our ultimate, a new government and protected Malaysia.

Ultimately there must be enough numbers to push aside the illegitimate leaders led by Najib Razak currently. Please save this country.

Men who abuse and manipulate huge public fund are traitors?

There have been no Cabinet meetings for the past many weeks as the Cabinet members are too busy repositioning themselves while waiting for Najib to finally own up his massive abuse and misappropriation of public funds especially through 1MDB and subsequently resign and live in repentance. In actuality the Cabinet are liable and accountable but Najib is shouldering the burdens they jointly commit all alone.

None of his Cabinet lineup takes responsibility and accountability. They lump it all on to Najib. Najib is the sole recipient of humiliation from the people while his colleagues in the Cabinet who are supposed to take the accountability with him are turning teir back on the ailing PM.

Najib fails to deny the allegations that USD700 million were transferred into his personal account before the last General Elections. This issue is the biggest of all issues surrounding the 1MDB fiasco to date. As the outcome of this latest issue many individuals who were alleged to be responsible to transfer the money into Najib’s personal account are now becoming fugitives. Some were rumoured to take on hiding in Indonesia and some are said to be in London. They are all wanted by MACC and the police but they are now nowhere to be traced.

BNM is seeking to arrest two individuals in their investigation on the movements of money from 1MDB through various companies where the fugitives are on the board and the management of those companies. Bank Negara has to act on the misappropriation and the dubious transfer of those funds as Singapore Monetary Authority has been alerting BNM on the dubious movements of funds surrounding the 1MDB. If BNM fails to act then Monetary Authority (MAS) of Singapore will do it.

Why do they choose to be fugitives? If they are truthful with no dubious intents on the money’s transfer there is no reason for them to evade investigations and choose to be fugitives. Being a fugitive will only affirms the allegations that 1MDB was committing serious and unpardonable crimes in the eyes of law and all those responsible has to face the consequence of their act including the advisor of the sovereign funds Najib Tun Razak. It’s an act of insubordinations to the country and the people. We know what the punishment on a traitor would be. The legal experts will give you the actual answer. If I am not mistaken, death sentence is the punishment to traitors of a nation. Do correct me if I am wrong here.

For that reason this blog have been emphasizing since years ago that leaders are not easy to find. We just can’t take in any Tom, Dick and Harry who leads the party to be the leaders of this sovereign nation.

This blog have been unfailingly reminding everyone that a leader must be a planner in attribute. He must be an institutionalized man of integrity and he must have the soul only for the people and country. Above all he must be acceptable by all races that populate the country and that need a real and crudely a magnanimous leader. He or she must be well bred by his family and appreciates what accountability means and as a law-maker he must not trespass or violates any part of the law they legislate. These attributes would are only be possessed by a perfect gentleman.

Muhyiddin told the UMNO members in Cheras two days ago that he had spoken to Najib years ago that he (Najib) should resign as the chief of advisors to 1MDB as 1MDB was a big and gigantic scandalous outfit. In actuality he should have resigned in protest from the Cabinet if he was that concerned over the seriousness of the 1MDB’s activities. Muhyiddin was trying to distance himself from the responsibilities over 1MDB event though he was the member of Cabinet that decides everything that the Government did for 1MDB.

Zahid Hamidi is more concerned about his position and has been telling the grass roots that he will be the next deputy Prime Minister. He fails to recognize that he is an automatic disqualifier to any position in the failed Cabinet as he was part and parcel of 1MDB by virtue him being a Cabinet member.

He should instead go around the country raising his hands and surrender his position as member of a failed Cabinet and retire gracefully. Zahid should assemble all the cabinet members to resign together with him to take the accountability on all the plundering of public funds committed by the cabinet.

Remember this failed cabinet contributes to the current failed Government and anyone of the current member should not even contemplate to substitutes Najib as the leader. Najib has to go but the replacement should not come from any of his Cabinet members he appointed. That is the basic rule to restart the nation afresh. Anything less than that, we are going to be in perpetual problem.

Najib and cabinet is more of a pest than leaders

The travel ban on the two opposition MPs and the boss of The Edge is real unbearable act of the desperate government and the cabinet headed by Najib Razak. The travel ban on Tony Pua and Rafizi Ramli, both the opposition MPs is done in a bad taste to democracy and that should be strongly condemned. Whether we like it or not the ban must be connected to the issue of 1MDB that these two law makers are focused on for the past months and years.

This is a very serious issue and with the travel ban on these active and responsible law makers it justifies the corrupt and misused of power as alleged by many quarters on the Cabinet led by Najib. There was no reason given by the Immigration Department as to why the ban was imposed on the two members of the Legislative Assembly.

As an ordinary citizen I am very disturbed by the act of banning the law makers from travelling abroad as it reflects the debauched mentality of leaders that rule this country. These are leaders who are not companionable to basic democracy and it affirms to some opinions that we are on a fast track forward to dictatorship. Najib and the Cabinet are not bearable with democracy as they are unable to co-exist with the goings on the democracy at work.

Najib wants everyone including the opposition MPs to just sit with deafening ears like all the irresponsible Cabinet members are doing. Najib wants everyone to close their eyes on all the suspected misdeeds he and the Cabinet do. Najib is taking law in his own hands and he is fining tune to dictatorship. If the Cabinet members are all that irresponsible the ordinary members of the Legislative should act swiftly to circumvent the advent of the dictatorship that is fast taking shape in the country.

The members of Parliament should act expeditiously to save this beautiful nation by repossessing the power from Najib and his Cabinet in order to avoid it being taken by an evil dictator. We are truly governed by a dictator now.  We should call on every responsible citizen to close rank and stand united with one voice to dispose the rash Cabinet from ruling us and does it with courage within the domain of democratic institutions that are still available with us.

In the main while there were views that Najib as the man of target on issues should also be barred from flying as he has not denied all the allegations against him or event charge the active critics like Tony Pua or Rafizi until to this moment. He has been promising to sue WSJ and Sarawak Report but until today there is no suing or actions against any party that he promises to sue.

Dr Mahathir has been criticizing him like anything but he remains silent on the former PM critics on him. He only alleges Dr Mahathir conspiring with outside element to topple the government. I would like to think that if he is at all not guilty to all allegations by Mahathir against him, the former PM should have been the first person for Najib to sue and disallows him from leaving the country. There is no point of extending or detailing this issue against Najib and his Cabinet. It is conclusive Najib is more like a pest than a leader to this country.

The travel ban on the two legislative members is a clear signal that Najib is prepared to rule like a dictator in defense his guilt and despondencies against allegations against him by the parties who want him to go.

The emerging third force will build strong and united Malaysia

There are strong indications that politics has gone beyond the border of partisan politics as the need for real resolution to mitigate the nation’s complications would not be achieved through inter  and intra-parties both in both the BN and oppositions.  UMNO is beyond recognition while the senior members of BN (MCA, Gerakan, MIC) were almost in oblivion. Nobody is taking MCA and the other two members of the BN seriously. They are just sitting at the corners of politics like dogs licking their own wounds all alone.

The oppositions were unable to take good advantage of weaknesses in UMNO and BN as they were embroiled in serious inter-party disputes especially between PAS and DAP. The moves by all members of BN and the oppositions are seen to be ineffectual and that make the politics of this country very improvident and calamitous. It is clear and evident that politics of this great nation needs to be rebranded through the shaping of a realistic and practical political third force.

It’s seen to be shaping up naturally. UMNO leaders are themselves not having the confidence to withstand their bastion of power while the opposition parties are realizing that they are unable to work together within their coalition but seem to be able to work with a new coalition or new political alignment to ensure the ultimate resolutions to the rapacious government is finally attained.

Hence the partisan politics at least at this transitory moment has to be sidestepped to give way for a gifted leader to lead a front for a real national correction plan to get into effect. The BN led government (Cabinet) now is imminently falling apart. The Prime Minister and his Cabinet are clueless lots and no one among them is a material for an effective Prime Minister that can formulate a feasible and doable plan to resolve the nation’s colossal quandaries.

In short the natural emergence of the strong third force has to originate from quality leaders from all parties from both side of the divide and momentarily leaving the parties behind and just to focus on reshaping the nation’s politics and government afresh which this blog has been emphasizing for a long while of time. The fragmented government and the people have to be urgently attended to before the country comes to further ruin.

The tradition of picking up the substitute the outgoing PM by taking the Deputy President of UMNO needs to be done with at this particular situation. Muhyiddin who is sitting Deputy President of UMNO is an automatic disqualifier as the need of capability for the national correction efforts is far beyond what Muhyiddin has in him.

Every party needs to contribute strong leaders to fill in the fully united government and to put in Muhyiddin as the candidate from UMNO will retard the move in progression. His ‘Malay first and the rest later’ stigma that sticks on him is not suitable for the needed change.

There is nothing wrong being strong Malay in image, but by definition of strong Malay is Malay that can manage all races united under him for ultimate goal of national unity. Muhyiddin does not fit in to the real and actual need of this country under the present circumstances and many parties have expressed their apprehensions over Muhyiddin’s aptitude to change the country a new.

Muhyiddin was ascended to the Deputy Prime Minster through the conventional manner of election of his position. He was an automatic candidate for the position that he holds now by virtue of him being the Deputy President of UMNO. Other parties and races didn’t have a hand in putting him to the current position.

Furthermore Muhyiddin has never being looked clean if there are parties putting in a small effort to uncover his misdeeds big or small to the country. Muhyiddin is stucked with accountability problem as he has been in the Cabinet that decides on all the misjudged decisions that bring the country to the current situation. He was part and parcel of the decision making in the cabinet.

The 'tutup lubang' Special Task Force saves Najib momentarily

Politics these days are very tiring game especially with Najib as well as his detractors and enemies. The tide changes every second from and for the warring parties.

Just two days ago everyone among the anti-Najib group was joyously celebrating as they thought that the Special Task Force which was set up comprising of the Attorney General, MACC boss, The Inspector General of the Police as well as the BNM Governor would confirm that the money amounting to US700 million actually flowed into personal account of the Prime Minister as alleged by the WSJ.

I didn't rejoice the mood as I was too suspicious of the motives of the Special Task Force and I felt that the verdict was predictable. It was hard to believe in the members of that special task force as they were the ones who usually defend Najib to their last breath. Thus the finding by the Special Task Force that the accounts mentioned by the WSJ wasn't Najib's and the anti-Najib's group was caught by unexpected surprise.

Many are waiting for Mahathir’s response to the finding of the Special Task Force as the judgment of the special task force is truly injuring him quite severely. The actual truth about PM Najib is the weapon used by Mahathir in his struggle to oust Najib but the power and the authority that is wrongly used by the Najib saves the ailing PM momentarily before he can find means to have the long-lasting cover for all his misdeeds if he can.

Does Najib  sits in a save sanctuary at present? Some say yes but others say no. However Najib’s group confesses that they learn a lot of valuable lessons right now. They realize that the closest to him (Najib) is the toughest to handle. Some even say by having a friend like Muhyiddin, Najib does not need any enemy anymore. Muhyiddin is in a fixed right now. He can’t move forward but only can move backward and retire with Najib unceremoniously. Muhyiddin was not decisive to the eyes of many and his undecisiveness lent him to political retardation.

For Najib he has learned another valuable lesson. Najib should admit that telling lies to cover numerous other lies would not end that easy. He should realize that he has to find every chance to cover the previous lies and usually the lies can be seen brightly through his face. Najib should realize too by now the problems with everybody when dealing with him is with his habitual lies and mendacities.

Now Najib is suspecting everybody even to those who are close to him in the party and the government. He has to suspect everybody and trusts nobody. He should submit to the fact that all his evil deeds are working against him. He may be protected by the ‘tutup lubang’ special task force but how long can that lasts?

It’s not going to last.

Be serious, we need a technocrat, magnanimous leader and a planner to lead

As I have said time and again Najib has lost everything. He has lost the cardinal requisites of a national leader and as the Prime Minister of a democratic nation. His credibility is quizzed by international community and that automatically make him as a botched leader. His personal credibility and the believability is now zero and he has no reason what so ever to continue on leading the nation.

Okay, what will be our next hurdle? It’s the substitute to Najib. As this blog has been saying unfailingly the culture and the traditional mode of replacing the failed outgoing leader is the real problem to the country. We have now undependable leaders in UMNO supreme council and the leadership vacuum just cannot make anyone of them fit to fill in the position as the Prime Minister.

Let’s say things bluntly. Muhyiddin is unfit to take over Najib who is going to leave Putrajaya. Taking in Muhyiddin is no change and to some political analysts are in opinion that the problems are going to recur maybe in different form. Their culture is the same and their way of thinking and perception of things do not have dissimilarities. They are hoards of hollow, weak and oblivious of proper leadership. The people have suffered enough under the current PM. There is nothing for one to believe in him any longer.

The situation that the country is facing is too severe that the Najib’s replacement is a paramount issue. If the same mistake of replacing the outgoing leader with another leader who is going to extend another lease of problems and hiccups to the country, than we are going to be in perpetual disorder and that will bring down the nation to irrecoverable devastation.

Muhyiddin is not free from issues if there is little efforts to uncover what he did last summer. There are debatable issues against him and if he is given the responsibility to fix up the huge and massive problems we are facing now we are going to be in total disappointments. More over Muhyiddin is not able to garner even fifty percent of the UMNO members and warlords to stand by him.

His effort to pack with the opposition to oust Najib was believed to be futile. No one should blame the opposition to reject Muhyiddin's proposal. Even though the oppositions believe in working with UMNO after Najib's departure, they distrust Muhyiddin to take the mantle.

Muhyiddin may have some familiarity with UMNO but he does not have the cut for a leader for all Malaysian. His 'Malay first and Malaysian second' stigma in him just make him an automatic disqualifier for the position of a Prime Minister for this almost fractured nation. As this blog have been routinely emphasizing we need a magnanimous Malay leader for all Malaysians. We need a leader who is hands-on on financial issues and a technocrat in attribute as well as a planner to lead.

With the current economic and financial disorder we need someone who has the sterling record both national and international contributions in the finance to bring a new political ambience that we are in dire need.

More importantly we are in need of a leader who can glue the interracial and inter-regional breakages within the country to keep going in achieving our ultimate that is the true national unity. Until the true national unity is achieved we are not yet a successful sovereign nation.

Ambiga's call for the opposition to band with Muhyiddn to oust Najib is a call of a political novice and we should ignore the call. There will be continuous political disorder if we answer her call.

Najib ada berani saman kah?

The issue on Najib's alleged misdeed has gone up to another height. Najib in his statement threatens his critics they will face full force of law as those allegations were all untrue and unfounded. The situation now is very critical and everyone who has their hands in the issue must be prepared to face the consequences of law, says Najib. The issue is getting fierier when WSJ (Wall Street Journal) exposed that there were traces of funds by the billions of ringgit from 1MDB deal had gone into the personal accounts of Malaysian PM. The figure alleged to flow in Najib's personal account was USD700 million.

What Najib is saying is true. If those were all malicious allegations against him the parties responsible should be prepared to face legal consequences. However Najib must also be prepared to face law if all the allegations against him have the traces of truthfulness. Najib says that he won’t bow to Dr Mahathir and he will not allow Mahathir to rule by proxy. I am personally agreeable to see the truth to prevail and I hope everyone in this world who has even a small and fractious of evident to put Najib on trial if there were some truth in their allegations against him.

Najib must also be prepared to prove that what his critics are doing are all political conspiracy against him. He must prove that Dr Mahathir is conspiring with international parties to oust him to be true. He also has to prove that he has not taken for himself and family any money as alleged by many quarters. He must sue everyone who goes in the open alleging him for the wrong doings. If the other parties manage to prove that Najib has been on the take in 1MDB and other deals than Najib have to go and his departure will certainly be very unceremonious.

I suggest Najib has to go to international arena to clean his dirty perception from the international as well as the local community. We want to see the issues surrounding the nation be stopped abruptly. Najib has to face the consequence if all the alleged wrong doings against him are true. Najib has to go to the court to come out clean. This is because it is easier to believe the allegations against him by the critics than believing him due of his scrawny reputation that he has.

I and many others support Najib to take legal actions against his critics and prove to the world that what WSJ had written days ago is part of the concerted efforts by conspiring politicians and leaders as well as the international community to sabotage his leadership.

Najib has to erase the perceptions that he was the one who creates his own problems. If Najib is not suing anyone as he promised than Najib has to go and just leave politics forever.

Who are the parties that Najib should sue? Among them in the list should be Sarawak Report, WSJ, the banks and of course Dr Mahathir Mohamed the strident critic on his administration. Others who should be sued by Najib are leaders like Lim Kit Siang and many other opposition law makers who have been very consistent in highlighting the issues against Najib.

But the people on the street are still having apprehension that Najib will sue anyone. Most of them ask us back, ‘Najib ada beranikah?’. Some are asking among themselves, ‘Najib ada telor kah?’ and all questions like that. But truly many others say, ‘Najib pergi ajelah. Apa yang beliau hendak tunggu?’

Now we are waiting for Najib to sue WSJ first. Don’t wait too long Mr PM. Let’s see the fun. However it's not easy to prove what LKS and Tony Phua as well as Rafizi Ramli say are not true. Now the ball is at Najib's feet and he decides for his future.

What is certain, Najib is having serious unmitigated believability problem. We feel sorry for him.

Let TR and the Legislative Members start the move for change

New political configuration is on the way to reality if every responsible minded leader of all levels and all leaders from all parties from all level have come to term that the country is not just in need to replace the sickly Najib but to search for a leader who can move the country forward for a more responsible government.

For all intents and purposes what we urgently in need is a leader who can fit in the equation for the united nation with united Malaysians. Having a strong UMNO president with lines of undependable and deficient leaders around him is a disputed move as UMNO is already insulted and looked down not only by the ordinary Malaysian but by majority of its members. UMNO is now just representing UMNO Malays while more Malays are now set to see a new political configuration which has long been outstanding.

The move that was initiated by Mahathir to get Najib ousted should follow through rigorously as Najib’s move in defense of his position is creating more grave consequences to his party and subsequently to his nation. Najib is not resigning and is prepared to do anything even to the extent of disassembling the country and government to fractious and divided nation. Depending on the support of the Malays in already fractious UMNO would just dash the country to the drain.

The balanced political and leadership equation is certainly in the ownership of Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah a leader who has already risen up as an institution in among the Malaysian political fraternity. It is evident that he has the support of Malaysian of all races both in the opposition front and NGOs and he can be the solution provider to the indecisive Malays in UMNO.

Muhyiddin who is supposed to be the mover within UMNO to oust Najib is a weak character and does not carry any punch for the change which the party in dire need. With the postponement of the party election until mid-2018 is a sure instance of UMNO killer ploy. It was a real insane move. Everyone can keep their disagreements to this notion to themselves. UMNO’s decision to reschedule their party election to mid-2018 is the actual and the concluding stroke of its demise.

Even if Muhyiddin is able to unite the UMNO members to get Najib ousted from its presidency, it’s not going to show any difference as Muhyiddin is only absorbed to UMNO and Malays in the party. WE are in need of having a Malay leader for all Malaysians.

The anti-Najib factions are too eager to see the change with the installation of the new PM has got to be done as early and taking the end of the year as the ultimate deadline for the change. WE are just stuffed by the political quarrel among its leaders but more important is to see that the gloomy economy be mitigated by good, proficient and skillful planner to circumvent the imminent plunge of the nation’s economy.

As long as the present leaders are still loitering in Putrajaya the nation is going to be in perennial economic malady. Our falling ringgit is frightening and the run on the Fund Managers are evidently due to the mismanagement of our economy and other lists of unmitigated issues of the nation’s economy.

It’s no more the issues of partisan political problems but the problems of the entire nation together with the entire slaying issues that we are facing. The rakyat have to come forward to resolve the problems and the rakyat are represented by the legislative members they elected in the last general election.

It’s now the time for the members of Parliament from all parties to burn their burners and start the action for the needed change. While the members of Parliament are busy to change the political landscape let Tengku Razaleigh sits at the drawing board to design and plan to resolve the entire problems that we face.

As long as the problems of politics and economy are not resolved we have to forget our ultimate to achieve national unity. Whether we like it or not the people have to act decisively. It’s not unfair to suggest that the current leaders in the cabinet and the government should be disbanded to give way for more realistic and hands-on leader to resolve the nation’s alarming state of affair.
